A month after its highly anticipated iPhone 6, Apple is set to unveil more new gadgets this week.
The tech giant is expected to reveal a new iPad, updates to its Mac lineup and its latest OS X software upgrade. The Thursday event at the company’s Cupertino, Calif., headquarters will mark Apple’s second unveiling in just two months.
While Apple never reveals exactly what’s coming ahead of its events, experts say the company is due for its annual iPad upgrade.
The sixth incarnation of the iPad — likely to be a revamp of last year’s iPad Air — will be lighter and thinner, Wired reported.
Its new features could mimic those of the new iPhones: it might include the ability to unlock with a fingerprint as well as a superpowered camera.
The new tablet is also slated to boost a better processer, more storage and an easier to read anti-reflective screen.
The iPad’s tiny counterpart, the iPad Mini, could get similar upgrades.
While Apple has revealed two gold-colored iPhones — the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 6 — it’s never tinted a tablet in the hue. Some experts predict the mini will finally come in the same golden tone this time around.
Apple’s Mac lineup is also due for a revamp. The company is expected to improve its signature desktop computer with a retina display.
Its smaller desktop, the Mac Mini, could see internal improvements to its processor, too.
Finally, the tech giant is expected to talk up its new operating system, OS X Yosemite. While the system debuted in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference, it was only available for developers and testers to download.
On Thursday, Apple will likely announce when the general public will get its hands on the software.
In June, Apple revealed Yosemite’s syncing capabilities: users can sync documents to their iPhones and iPads over a filing sharing system called AirDrop and can make calls from their mobile devices and their desktops, CNET reported.
