Millie Bobby Brown is among the stars to celebrate their Emmy Award nominations following an announcement ceremony in Los Angeles.
The British performer, 14, plays Eleven in Stranger Things and is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series.
Hers is one of 12 nominations for Netflix’s sci-fi favourite.
Game Of Thrones leads the way with 22 nods, followed closely by Saturday Night Live and Westworld, each with 21.
Brown said: “12 nominations for our show!! I love this cast and crew so much and I’m beyond thrilled to see how much Stranger Things has been embraced by our peers and The Academy. Well done to @dkharbour and of course The Duffers; none of this would be possible without them! It’s incredibly special and rewarding. I’m the luckiest girl.”
John Legend is up for two awards – one for starring in Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert and one for producing the show alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
Should he win, he will enter the exclusive EGOT group: performers who have won Grammy, Oscar, Tony and Emmy awards.
Legend, 39, said: “I’m so proud of our Jesus Christ Superstar team! 13 Emmy nominations! We really had so much fun working on this together. So happy for everyone involved.”
Sandra Oh made history as the first woman of Asian descent to be nominated for Lead Actress In A Drama Series.
The star, who was born in Canada to Korean parents, received the nod for BBC America’s Killing Eve, in which she plays an MI5 officer who is chasing an assassin.
She posted a selfie of herself and Michelle Krusiec, and wrote: “Omg wtf?? This is me hearing about Emmy nom w/ fellow sister @michellekrusiec – my expression is kinda ..what?.”
Sterling K. Brown is up for Lead Actor In A Drama Series for his role in This Is Us.
He shared a video with fans in which he said he and the rest of the cast are “all so very, very excited and honoured to be invited to the party”.
Antonio Banderas is nominated in the category of Lead Actor In A Limited Series Or Movie, up against Legend and Benedict Cumberbatch.
The 57-year-old Spanish actor has been recognised for his portrayal of the artist Pablo Picasso in Genius.
He said: “It’s a great honor being nominated to the £Emmys2018 awards. Thank you everyone for your congratulations. With your permission, I wish to share them with all the team, which made it possible. £GeniusPicasso. Thank you.”
Netflix’s rebooted makeover Queer Eye was nominated for four awards, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program.
The Fab Five took to their social media accounts to celebrate and Antoni Porowski shared a picture of them all together holding up golden balloons reading out the word: “Congrats.”
Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che and Colin Jost will host the 70th Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on September 17.
